I enjoyed this game's aesthetic a lot! Not sure why I can suicide, but maybe it's something mechanical later (I will have to come back to it to finish). I love the lighting effects. I did notice the coyote time, so cool stuff there. Is it intentional that you still seem to throw lights in the light dimension?

Absolutely love the music.

Overall great job!

throwing lights in the light dimension does absolutely nothing for you - and I got caught up with other mechanics so I forgot to take it out lol. As it hurts nothing it wasn't really a prio - thanks for checking mine out! Will be opening yours soon!

Nice, sound, nice lights. Sadly I can not read the upper text, the UI is out of the screen area. Would it be possible to fix the "aspect ratio" so that it fits the screen?

Thank you for playing and for your review; I've also rated your game as well.

Great light effect

Cool game, fit the jam theme really well. The music matches the vibe of exploring the maze-like levels. I'm struggling on the second map though! Will keep at it.

Oh wow what a wonderful game, I love this. well done.

i like that you have multiple controls, i was missing the up arrow to jump with. some times i jumped and thought i could use it.

door doesnt work and i want to kms ,fantastic!

Skill issue!

Awesome game nice job !

Thank you so much! :)

Very nice game. I really liked the concept of throwing balls of light. Also music is great - it really gives a sense of the challenges becoming increasingly more difficult as the time runs out.

At times I found the jumping mechanics a bit frustrating... maybe it was just me, but I could not make it to the end as one switch seemed impossible to reach.

Thanks for trying it out! I really appreciate it.
I Implore you to open level 1 again, when you see the one that is out of reach, jump off the edge towards it!

And what is it about the jump mechanics? I copied almost one for one the mechanics of hollow knight - which is regarded as one of the best recent platformers(read: metroidvania)

So there is really just a couple of things.

First, as I said, I cannot reach this lever in level 3, not level 1:

Second, I died almost 50 times just trying to pass through these two spikes on the top of each other in level two. And the fact that the player always spawns in this place doesn't help:

Maybe it's not a problem with the jumping mechanics itself, but with how the obstacles are positioned. Other than that, everything works fine and I've really enjoyed playing the game!

So glad you tried it! I won't bait you intonplaying again(haha) but they can both be reached very easily. And it's done using something that actually makes the platformer better than an average one, when you fall of a platform, you can still jump, for around 0.3 seconds thats how you get the top one, and the bottom,  if you have the box just on the very edge you can pass the platform without having to jimp through those two spikes.

Thank you so much for trying! It is a hard one!

My apologies. I didn't realise you can still jump when falling from a platform. That makes a lot of difference  :)

An excellent game that I'll be coming back to.

What a kind comment! :D
